Since 2005, a public reference library (non-circulating) has been operating on the second floor of the Ludwig Museum. Its primary collecting focus is post-1945 Hungarian and international art, with special emphasis on the visual arts of the East-Central European region.
Opening Hours
Tuesday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
The library is open to visitors from Tuesday to Friday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Access outside these hours (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM) is available by prior appointment. Please arrange an appointment using one of the contact details provided below.
