Guided tour by Nóra L. Ritók in the exhibition Golden Repair – Fine Adjustments. The exhibition explores the themes of healing and repair in a broad sense, ranging from the personal to the cultural, from society to the cellular level.
Nóra L. Ritók is the professional director of the Igazgyöngy Foundation. She founded Igazgyöngy as an art school with a strong pedagogical focus, which has since grown into a complex opportunity-creating model and has become an emblematic organization in the fight against child poverty. L. Ritók regularly publishes about the multifaceted work carried out by the foundation and seeks to advocate for the cause across as many fields as possible, from public policy to national and international professional and civil networks.
Working together with her colleagues for people affected by social marginalization, they have gained essential insights across all areas of life. From this unique perspective, she approaches the artworks on view in the exhibition, interpreting the issues raised through lived experience—on the level of the individual, the community, and the system alike.
