Volker Stelzmann

Volker Stelzmann belongs to the second generation of the Leipzig School. A student of Wolfgang Mattheuer, Bernhard Heisig, and Werner Tübke, he too is a committed realist painter, though his approach to reality is naturally enriched with individual stylistic traits.
