Müpa Budapest discount

The exhibitions of Ludwig Museum of Contemporary Art can be visited free of charge at one occasion of choice with valid tickets of the Müpa Budapest until (and including) the day of the concert!

We offer the following concessions for families on the occasion of the Year of the Families programme:

  • free entry to our exhibitions for people with National Association of Large Families, abbreviated as NALF member card 
  • free entry to our exhibitions for people with Single Parent Families' Foundation member card 
  • families raising children with understanding difficulties can participate for free on Integrated Family Matinées
  • free entry to Children's day events on 26 May 2018. 
  • our family events on Museums' Autumn Night in October 2018. 
  • Free entry to our collection exhibition every Sunday for families: 1 adult & 1 or more children (under the age of 18) and 2 adults with 1 or more children (under the age of 18)

50% discount for every exhibition (only for citizens of the European Economic Area):

  • youths aged 6-26
  • senior citizens aged 62-70   
  • family discount: for max. two adult close relatives accompanying at least two youths aged under 18
  • Hungary Card: discount for two persons, on two occasions from any full-price exhibition ticket
  • Budapest Card holders

 

Admission with a 500 HUF discount ticket

  • Pupils and students of secondary and higher education institutions specialized in arts, which have valid collaboration agreements with the museum – with pupil and student cards (as single visitors)
  • People with MAOE (Fine Art Fund) and FKSE (Young Fine Artists’ Studio Society) card
  • Visitors with Studio of Young Photographers (FFS) membership card


Free admission to all exhibitions – with free tickets obtained at the museum´s information desk

  • Children under the age of 6
  • Visitors with disabilities and one attendant per person
  • EEA citizens over the age of 70
  • Professionals with an entrance ticket issued by the Minister of Cultural and Educational Affairs, as well as people with ICOM, ICOMOS pass
  • Elementary or secondary school teachers working in the public sector and university or higher education teachers (ID required), with European Community citizenship
  • Journalists with international press pass with photo
  • Visitors with ICOM, CIMAM, ICCROM, AICA, IKT pass
  • Participants of special professional events and programmes organised by the Ludwig Museum
  • Every visitor on Hungarian national holidays (15 March, 20 August, 23 October)


Free admission to the collection display (only!) on the last Sunday of every month (for citizens of an EEA country)
