Walking is good. Walking with a dog is even better – at least, that’s what dog lovers would say.
But do we experience the city differently when we walk with a dog? What do we notice, where do we stop, and what routes do we choose? And what might all this have to do with art?
During the programme, we will explore these questions together, while keeping art at the heart of the conversation. We will approach the works in the Walk This Way. Art of Walking exhibition from the particular perspective of walking and sharing that experience with a dog.
As the programme and discussion will take place inside the museum, participating dogs must be well socialised and comfortable spending an hour and a half in the company of unfamiliar people and other dogs.
Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the programme.
