Chan Wook Park: Old Boy (2004)
This director stands a long way from all European traditions,
but is still compared with the greats. Starting off as an average
detective film, it thickens into a suspense-filled thriller: we are on
a journey, frightened, wanting to escape, together with the hero.
Or maybe not?
