Give me a bite

This Saturday, we are going to work at Imre Bukta’s installation entitled Give me a bite. Based on the example of this witty, personal, and a bit melancholy still-life of lard cubes (a special Hungarian food associated with Hungarian farmers who used to eat this type of bacon while working hard all day long on their lands), we are making food out of plastic: the type of food that we like or hate, that we have either good or bad memories of. We can make pancakes, spaghetti, French fries, pizza, hamburger, or anything at all.

You will surely be hungry like a wolf, following this activity!

During the Lumi Atelier programme, children visit the exhibitions of the Ludwig Museum and learn about the most exciting artworks, as well as taking delight in art-making activities, while their parents are taking part in a magic museum walk.

Participation is with a 500 HUF programme ticket per person, including the materials used. Children may keep everything they have created.
