Access is provided for you to download reproductions/videos of artworks or photographs currently on display in our exhibitions with the purpose of informing the public about our ongoing and upcoming events, under the following terms and conditions:
- Picture credit line must include the following information: name of the artist, title and date of the artwork, the full name of Ludwig Museum, name of the photographer.
- Reproductions can be used exclusively as illustrations for press publication purposes e.g. in teasers, reviews about an artist or an exhibition, etc.
- Reproductions that accompany an article mustn’t be used for marketing or advertising purposes.
- A maximum of 5 pictures, max. 72 DPI resolution each, can be attached to online articles.
Further use
The use of images for front covers may attract a fee and will require the prior consent and authorisation of the owner and copyright holder of the work. Please contact the Communication and PR Department for such use.
Press images are to be used exclusively for information purposes related to the given exhibition, they mustn’t be used for publication at any time later on, and mustn’t be given to a third party either.
