Guided tour in Hungarian in the exhibition Knight Move: Sam Havadtoy in New York. The exhibition presents Sam Havadtoy's (Sámuel Havadtõy) New York years, when his art was largely impacted by his working relationships with the outstanding artists of the city in the 1970's and 1980's.

The Ludwig Museum – Museum of Contemporary Art cordially invites you to the opening of the following exhibition KNIGHT MOVE Sam Havadtoy in New York on Thursday, 12th July 2018 at 6 p.m.

This edition of Ludwig Lounge is connected to the exhibition Black Mirror: The Long Shadow of the Future. The afternoon’s programmes approach the exhibition’s central questions from different perspectives: How can we understand our present through artistic visions of the future created in the recent past? How can the concept of dystopia offer ways of thinking forward? To what extent does technology shape our present and our ideas about the future? And how do these thought experiments transform our environment, our social relationships, and the way we think about ourselves?

The afternoon begins with a subjective guided tour by writer and journalist Imre Para-Kovács, followed by a conversation moderated by Dávid Zubreczki with two artists featured in the exhibition, Marcell Esterházy and Antal Lakner. The evening concludes with a DJ set by Lőrinc Borsos.
