At first glance, walking is a simple, everyday activity: we set off from one place and arrive at another. But what happens when the destination is no longer the point, and walking itself becomes important?

The Walk This Way exhibition explores how walking has become an artistic tool and how it has become connected to social, political and urban issues. Walking can be a means of discovery, observation and mapping, but also a form of resistance or political action.

The exhibition also asks how walking can change our relationship with our surroundings. When we slow down, we experience the city, nature and even our own thoughts differently. Walking, then, is not simply a way of getting from one place to another, but a way of experiencing and understanding the world.
