COLLABORATIVE ARTS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAMME - 2015

In 2015, as the first CAPP event, together with Káva Kulturális Műhely [Káva Theatre in Education Association] we designed a 4 day workshop for artists. Both Káva, as the leader of the workshop and the participating artists were chosen through an open call selection process.

The main aim of the workshop was to enable the artists to become familiar with the beauties and challenges of collaborative arts practices. We were looking for answers to questions like the relationship between artist, artwork and community, the artists’ responsibility towards community, and the importance of communication and planning. We encouraged artists to apply from all art forms in order to provide a platform for cross-sectoral collaboration and networking.

Also in this year we held the first a partner meeting in Venice, where invited artists also participated in the work and had the chance to network at an international level. The programme was coordinated by the Italian Artway of Thinking, a multidisciplinary art collective. Three Hungarian artists participated in the programme.
